My beloved fellow death hags....
It has been brought up in conversation in the chat room and mentioned in a few threads that, with all the welcomed new hags to this swingin' FAD forum there will be duplicate threads and posts. Please don't spoil the fun and make anyone feel "stupid" because of this. Yes, that word has popped up in a few posts!
If you're new to the FAD forum, welcome aboard! Here you will find general acceptance and support for your "twisted" hobbies. Please, take some time and read the older posts. Some things you'll have already known. Some things you'll find..you didn't want to know! Either way you'll find that we are quite the witty bunch!

I noticed some people got touchy with duplicate threads. I just think they get all excited and forget to check to see if we already have a thread!!!

I agree Danny, but a few nasty asshats have been VERY mean to the new kids on the block and I, for one will NOT tolerate any bullying.

I was born here, but we moved to Arizona in 1978 so that's where home is for me. I was married October 1st of 2006 and this is where the money is. And the cold weather. My sister lives in SLC! She keeps trying to get me to come out, but time is so precious right now. My partner just started a production company and we've actually been accepted into a few "shorts" filmfests, so we're keeping our fingers crossed that MAYBE this could be the start of something BIG! We lived in LA in the late 80's/early 90's and I think I'm THIS close to convincing her that warm weather is where it's at so, time will tell!

no i aint used the search thingy either but if ya got sumin to say search it first

It would be nice to keep it running so whatever mod was available next would catch it instead of it getting stuck in any one PM box.

Usually anything here gets asap attention by the next mod available.

I thought I was the merging queen. *sigh* Always a pall bearer, never a corpse.

I checked online and sent this to the only mod that appeared signed in early this a.m. (can't tell if he/she was actually by the pc) and it got stuck there.
I bet one swoops in there asap though. I like putting 'em here :)

Seems a lot of times lately I see no mods signed in. Might be my browser.

huh? I made the thread for when people are signing off they can say BYEBYE for the night. If Belle made a goodbye thread it would be a duplicate so I am asking her to just add it to mine in order to save you (or whomever) the trouble of eventually merging it. Ok, so much for notice... my thread was just merged and I happened to stumble upon it by chance.

Nick, Mods,etc... Maybe this can be a rule for all future merges? it's just annoying to look for something and find responses and POOF it's suddenly gone.

You all do wonderful for us, but we start duplicate threads too fast for mere humans to keep up. I've been guilty too. I like to bring them to your attention because I have a hard enough time keeping up with the 10,000 topics as it is. When I was a mod I was the neatness of threads queen; it wasn't even healthy any more. You can work 24/7 and still never keep up.

Even if we search before starting a thread, one person's "ghool pool" is another person's "dead pool" and one "furbaby" is another's "pet" (which is a 3 letter word anyway LOL)
