That is a beautiful picture! So sad, but still beautiful. I bet Dannielynn would have adored her big brother and he would have been crazy about her. She seems happy and well adjusted with Larry and I am really glad for that. She's a little doll who looks like her mommy.

Whatever issues Anna Nicole dealt with in her life, she dearly loved her son and he meant everything to her. It broke my heart when Daniel died because I knew she was too fragile and would never make it without him. She lost her will to live and Howard preyed on her while she was vulnerable. He is a sorry piece of shit. That picture of Anna cradling Daniel in her arms after he died was one of the saddest pictures I have ever seen and it is haunting. I hope they are happy together now and looking after Dannielynn. Larry seems to be a really good daddy.

i feel the same way that you do. i can look at death photos, even that chris farley death photo, the most disturbing one of them all but i still feel guilty about looking at the anna nicole and her son. its so heartbreaking, you can feel her pain through that picture.

I read that the purpose behind that photo was to convince her to let the hospital take him away, and after the length of time (and was it 2 or 3 autopsies?) for her to bury him, I believe it. Poor AN... I can imagine every time she came "back to reality" it was like losing him all over again. I saw funeral pics from his funeral, and I think a casket pic, even. Maybe it was here.

I really, really expected to see a casket pic of Anna Nicole, esp considering the "players" in that group.

Never understood why Larry Birkhead, as the "baby daddy" was ever even considered as a next of kin/decision maker - no relation except that he was an ex that she happened to get pregnant by.

I do think her marker is beautiful.

I doubt if Anna wanted the whole world to see a picture of Daniel right after he died, but she probably was heavily sedated around that time and never even knew when it was released.

I have seen a picture of Anna after she died, but not in her casket. She really didn't look that bad other than being really bluish-gray looking, especially her lips. I believe the picture is in this thread somewhere and I know the casket pic of Daniel is here. He looked rough to me.

I'm not sure why Larry was included in decision making other than he was the most normal person that Anna knew. I do think Larry truly cared about Anna and wanted to be a part of Dannielynn's life. Was the Daniel dead pic released by the people who bought the house in the Bahamas - the Shelley's? They were in the house in the Bahamas while the court battle was going on, I believe. They are the ones who released the pics of the refrigerator, and the infamous clown video.

I've seen the morgue-shroud pic of Anna Nicole - not really sure it's authentic.

Daniel's funeral pic is pretty bad - but his funeral was a month or so after he died - not sure how efficient the funeral homes in the Bahamas are with embalming, etc. I think that is part of why he looked like he did.

I love Anna, always have. These gold pregnant pics are horrible of her, what was she thinking? These pics are on this thread somewhere. The ones posted of her a few posts up are much better. But, that is Annas real hair without the extensions in these gold pics.

Tntina, I'm not sure who released the pics of Anna and Daniel after he died. I always assumed it was Howard since he is a creep and I dislike him, but it's possible someone else released them. I think the death pic of Anna is real. I also assumed Daniel looked bad because it was such a long time before he was buried. He also seemed to have more facial hair when he was in the casket than when he first died. That seems strange to me.
