Victory will belong only to those who have faith in the people, those who are immersed in the life-giving spring of popular creativity.

The one thing I'll remember about him is that
he was Alice Cooper's favorite artist.

A.) I could watch old What's My Line clips all day. We seemed to be so much funnier, witty and urbane back then.
B.) I absolutely love Dali. I love both his artwork and his performance art. Andulusian Dogs is still brilliant.
    Thank you for the post!

A big show of Dali's is on currently in Melbourne Australia at the NGV. My friend brought me back the catalogue yesterday! Blows everyone away!
Apparently he preferred to masturbate rather than have sex! He thought he was to underendowed! His anxiety about sex made him impotent.
Gala was a nymphomanic when she met him and he was quite the opposite.

just read a little book called sex and the great artists!

What a fine thread a topic like this would make!

    Back to Dali,
"He was fixated on the anus ' The authors words not mine, tho denied any homosexuality or homosexual leanings himself. The great poet Fredrico Garcia Lorca tried many times to seduce him.

He never did much for me. First year college students always have a poster of his. He looked dirty and I can't stand Gala either. I like weird people but they tried to be weird.

Cherry do start one and please dish on whatever it said about Picasso. I think he was the essence of sex.

One of my faves too! I used to have several Escher prints around. This is the only I still have displayed.
