This is huge all over the state. As in the tornado that hit Tuscaloosa brought together 2 rivals, so has this. I keep watching the news for any updates on the "standoff" in Montgomery. Such a sad situation.
Even though I'm not living in 'Bama anymore and am a huge Alabama fan (or maybe even partly because of it) I have been avidly following this story. My heart breaks for all the people involved in this and all the other senseless tragedies that we hear about and that we, more so, that we don't. What I find interesting about this story is that I heard more about it first from the Miami news, then I did from the Birmingham new. Go figure...
Anyway...here's the latest on the story...

Here's a story about the three young men shot...from other stories I understand the fight was over a woman....

Sorry about the reverse order of posting. I'm brand new at this and thought somebody would do it before me. Since I couldn't sleep, I thought I'd give it a shot

Given the lapse between the shooting and identifying the suspect I figure Birmingham didn't want to alarm the population. Sad story though as ever when young people are murdered.I'm not a fan of either team but I'e a fondness for Birmingham if only for Milo's.
Tell me about it! Love, love, love Milo's. In fact, it was the first thing I asked for after my daughter was born 19 1/2 yrs ago at UAB...a Milo's double cheeseburger, fries and a sweet tea - and that's the first thing I order when I arrive in town now.
Getting back on topic. I have to say that I'm kinda surprised they haven't caught this guy yet. Do y'all think he's still in the state or did he clear out?
