I've heard rumors about Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire having a gay affair for years. I've also heard Elijah Wood can't get enough of it. And Jodie Foster is supposedly a closeted lesbian.

And honestly, I would be shocked if Clay Aiken turned out to be anything but gay, but he's from such a strict Christian background he's ashamed of it.

In the wrestling industry it's well known that former wrestlers/current WWE agents Pat Patterson and Steve "Brooklyn Brawler" Lombardi are a long-time gay couple. Also gay from the wrestling world is Chris Kanyon, and former WWE star Orlando Jordan is openly bi-sexual.

To be frank, when they cast Anne Heche opposite Harrison Ford I thought it was a mistake. Credibility factor there was a bit low considering she was having a very open relationship with Ellen at the time. Other than that no beef with her.

I understand your point and I guess that's why a lot of people hide their sexuality. It's just a shame as we should accept the character being separate to the actor.

British actors seem to be able to manage it better. Openly gay actors like Rupert Murdoch and Sir Ian McKellen get plenty of work without being stereotyped.

while i was in high school one of my teachers told the whole class that he had a friend in the military. the friend went over seas. he was in hawaii i believe. well the friend went out one night to a bar or some kind of place on that lines and saw jim nabors and rock hudson in the back of place hugged up and i believe kissing. i always knew about rock my dad told me that when i was in jr. high. everyone knew about him.

When I was in high school (Mid 60's) the rumor was always going around the Rock Hudson and Jim Nabors were gay lovers. I think it was just urban legend. Rumor about Rock were just starting to leak to the public(of course it was common knowledge in the business) and I think Nabors was added to it because he seemed to be the one least likely to be associated with Rock Hudson. At that time our only exposure to Nabors was as Gomer on TAGS. Over the years these rumor have gotten rehashed over and over and that is the only gay association I ever heard about Jim Nabors.

I saw Judas Priest in concert in 1988. The time they had "Ram it Down". Good show BTW !!

I do remember when Halford was on stage climbing on a motorcycle decked out it leather. It was hard not to noticed that he was getting turned on by being on that thing. Also I heard from others who have been to other JP shows and they claim seeing Halford licking a motorcycle and even a mic, as if he was giving the thing head.

However Rob Halford wasn't the first metal star to say he was gay. I think that honor may go to the band Accept. I think its a safe bet to say that after hearing their songs "Balls to the Walls" and "London Leatherboys" and the pic of a half naked guy in leather on the cover of the album, people more/less knew which way they leaned.

Not too long ago I heard a local radio DJ say that NASCAR's Jeff Gordon was seen kissing a man on the mouth at a gay club in New York City not long after the divorce from his first wife. I even heard the divorce was becasue of this. Then there was the story about Jeff tried to enter a gay bathhouse but was refused admission ( I guess because of Jeff being a star and didn't want trouble ) only to have Jeff screamed "..don't you know who I am..I'm Jeff Gordon !!!".

Not sure if any of this stuff is true or not but I have seen bumper stickers on quite a few cars with the words " Fans Against Gordon". Noticed the first letter of those the three words, what does it say?

I know that NASCAR like other pro sports ( NFL, MLB, NBA and so forth ) is a big business. And some cities live/die by sports, for example take way their sports some cities like Indianapolis and Buffalo would be in serious trouble. I wonder with all the power that Major League Sports have is one reason why one doesn't hear much about this football player being gay or that baseball player being bisexual or whatever. The taboilds ( to me anyway ) still think of this as taboo.

Of course I am sure NASCAR, NFL and other sports have their share of gay players.

Tony Stewart is from my hometown, Columbus, Indiana. I do not follow NASCAR at all, but I have heard rumors for YEARS that Tony is a big spoiled brat, AND that he is gay as a goose. The same about Jeff Gordon.

When I lived in Atlanta back in the 80's Burt Reynolds was living and shooting a movie there. The rumors were running rampant that he was visiting the gay bars and taking men home at night. I really wouldn't doubt it.

Being gay and living in the LA area Ive noticed, and been surprised, by the celebrities and actors that Ive seen in gay clubs and bars. I always thought it was amazing that nobody ever outed them. Then i figured it was a matter of the homophobia still out there in mainstream America and there was some unspoken rule about not outing people without them doing it themselves. So I respect that and wouldnt want to out someone, but I have learned that a great many men in that industry are, in fact, gay. The gay culture is a big piece of hollywood, though uncredited and widely unknown. Just my two cents.

I've had some major gaydar hits in NASCAR in the last few years. I have run into people who think Michael Waltrip is gay, they didn't have any reasoning, and I don't think that. I've still think the jury is out on Jamie McMurray even though it doesn't get mentioned.

I'll neverv forget when my wife and I went to a gay bar with some of here friends who where fisherwomen.

I was in the Air Force, and of course during that time there was a STRICT policy against being gay. Some guy walked up to me and asked me to dance. I was so taken back, and our hosts explained that we were friends and straight.

Very nice people and we had a very nice evening with some friends and some new friends. Personally, If you get a chance to love, or be loved, is no difference.

A number of years ago, I read an article that stated that 6 out of 10 actors in Hollywood are gay. That number seems a bit high to me but I think the article was saying actors in general and not 6 out of 10 male *Stars* are gay.
As I think of the arts in general, maybe it does make sense that so many men in the movie/television and theatre business are gay.
It's just a career that many gay men are attracted to and if the work they do is good, it's all fine by me.

When did James Dean ever admit to being bisexual? I have never heard that although I have heard the rumors.
Dennis Hopper and Dizzie Sheridan have always said the opposite and I would think that they would know.
I don't know either way but I don't think if Dean was bi, that he ever openly admitted it to people.
I also have to say I find myself gravitating towards Hopper and Sheridan's declaration more than some author who never met the guy.

Dean had a sexual ambivalance about him. I am sure he would have never openly admitted to homosexual relationships (given the culture of the time). However there are several accounts. I don't disregard these and tend to believe that they are true. I believe James Dean "swang both ways".
As for the Errol Flynn/Tyrone Power rumors this for me is a "?" and more unfounded.
