William Garretson Cielo Drive Caretaker Dead At 66

William Garretson who escaped death at the hands of the Manson Family at 10050 Cielo Drive on August 9th 1969 died August 16th 2016. Very little info on this, or his life in general after returning to Ohio. I would be curious to know what he did in the 40 plus years until his passing. Jobs ? Social Life ? http://www.tlbradio.com/2017/01/bill-garretson-has-passed-away.html

Wow, I'd forgotten all about him. It's been more than 30 years since I read Helter Skelter.

I need to buy another copy myself. I also want to reread The Family.

Same for me. I can't find my book.

I had forgotten about him too. The only person on the property that night that lived.

    RIP.
