Direct Tv has a follow up ad to the guy waking up in a roadside ditch now..

When your cabel company puts you on hold you get frustrated ( shows the guy throwing his arms up all pissed off )
When you get frustrated your young daughter imitates your actions
When your daughter imitates your actions she gets thrown out of school ( shows a teeage girl throwing a classmates books )
When your daughter gets thrown out of school she meets undesireables ( shows the girl in an arcade with a guy playing video games )
When your daughter meets undesireables she marries an undesireable
When your daughter marries an undesireable you get a granddaughter wearing a dog coller
Don't get a granddaughter wearng a dog collar

I love the "Real Men of Genious" commercials. I wish they still ran them. They were fun. I still go on YT to see them from time to time.

I like to remember old commercials, when I was a kid. Some of the commercials:
-Boomy (an ice cream with flavor of orange, lemon and strawberry)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5FuLWiJ2YE
-Conguitos (a product similar like M&M (peanuts with chocolate) what still being sold in Spain)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uXfc9...eature=related
    -Phoskitos
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8q-TL...eature=related
-Vega e hijos (second 1:21 to second 1:42) (an commercial about fresh cheese of a local company of my city. The commercial was released in 1990, and I still watching it TV today! )

I love the 2 switching from cable to dish networks the ones we have here are a guy getting hit in the eye being beaten up and left in a ditch because he wears an eye patch.
Second one is where the daughter sees the father slamming his fist so his daughter imitates him and he ends up with a grandson who wears a dog collar.
My wife loves the car insurance commercial with a pig going down a zipline with 2 pinwheels.

When you have to pay the cabel company too much you throw things
When you throw things people think you have anger issues
When people think you have anger issues your schedule clears up
When your schedule clears up you grow a scraggley beard
When you grow a scraggley beard you start taking in stray animals
When you start taking in stray animals you can't stop taking in stray animals.

I am really enjoying the new Lowe's commercial were all the pretty paint colors are running around. Sort of reminds me of the 60's minus the morning after problem.

Myself..I like watching the old cigarette ads. Some are so funny such as those two lighting up a smoke while they are waterskiing or that one ad for True with the spokesman saying "..MAN what a good cigarette". Winston Tastes Good Like a Cigarrette should, high fashion models dancing and smoking Virginia Slims, cowboys and the Marlboros, people proudly showing their Larks..fun stuff. Best was the one for Kools. Parents lighting up and blowing smoke in front of their kids with the windows rolled up..all had smiles on their faces.

..of course when I see these clips on You Tube I avoid the comments. No need having a 15 year old telling me that smoking causes lung cancers and how everyone who had done these clips had "died" from it.

The direct tv ads are great.

When you wait for hours for the cabel guy to show up, you get bored
When you get bored you look out the window
When you look out the window you see things you shouldn't see
When you see things you shouldn't see, you need to vanish
When you need to vanish you dye your eyebrows
When you dye your eyebrows you fake your own death

I LOVE the new Geico commercial, NewEnglander. The only Geico commercials I DON't like are the ones with the "taste-testing." I have to shake my head at those.

Speaking of insurance commercials, I also love all the "Allstate Mahem" commercials. I think part of it is because I had a HUGE crush on that guy in them when he played on "Rescue Me."

I don't get those Taste Test commercials either.

It's funny, Mr. Mahem has always looked familiar to me, then last night I was watching an old Law and Order SVU and guess who was playing one of the dectectives? Mr. Mahem.

I have a crush on Mr. Mayhem too. I first noticed him as Liz Lemon's loser boyfriend Dennis Duffy on 30 Rock but I've seen him in reruns of L&O too. Love those mayhem commercials! actually I saw him in a movie on the hallmark channel too, where a lady friend of his leaves her little girl with him. I didn't get to see the whole thing, it was probably fro the 90s.

He does radio spots for allstate as Mayham.

I'm a California bumble bee and I'm on the way back to the hive to tell tthe guys about the flower I just scored with when I advertenly fly threw your open car window. You try and swat me but I'm just too
quick, you trap me in the cornor of the windshield and I defend myself the only way I know how. As my venum pumps into your arm you don't stop in time to miss hitting that truck in front of you. If you have cutrate insurance you'll really feel the sting when the repair bill comes. Get allstate and protect yourself from Mayham .... like me
