This is reminding me of River Phoenix's death. Unexpected and just plain depressing.

Sad. First River Phoenix, then Anna Nicole Smith, now Heath Ledger? All by drug overdose?

Except that River's death can't have been this out of the blue for *anyone.*

I've never listened to a story unfold on CNN and read about it online at the exact same time...kind of surreal. Lots of shocked movie goers out there today.

Man o Man o Man! He was just so amazing! I'm soooo sick of drugs! I know the group hug has passed, but could we have another? I was working and missed the first one...

I just saw a picture of him hanging out with Joaquin Phoenix in NYC not too long ago. I'm so sad right now. I think I need in on that group hug.

Because he was so young, and we had no idea that he had problems.

they're saying he was face down on the bed. Sources now say the apartment Heath was found in was not in any way related to Mary Kate Olsen. Police are saying that his death was definitely accidental.

They had the live stream up, then all of a sudden it wasn't there. I wonder if the TMZ server is going to crash this afternoon?

True, I was 13 so I didn't know too much about his extra-curricular activities. It was a shock for me at that time. But you're right.

TMZ's live feed is coming in and out for me, they must have a record number of viewers. A lot of cameras started snapping all of the sudden but that could be because some random person came out of the building, it's hard to actually see. I'm betting they'll remove his body from the back of the building. This one hits really close to home. He's two years older than me, the same age as my brother and I really liked him! I mean, Brad Renfro was kind of like "whoa" but Heath? Somebody please wake me up!

I notice Perez doesn't have an update up yet, either. Bet he crashed and burned because he thrives on this. You know Perez was creaming his underoos.

For me it hurts because we are, were close in age. I'm 26 and he was 28. Both part of the same generation. It just sucks...

    RIP Heath. Much too young.

I posted some pics I took of a location shoot for "The Dark Knight", the Batman film coming out this summer. None of Heath, but a small tribute nonetheless to 'The Joker'.

They were shooting on the northside of Chicago in June, 2007.

I don't know what is different about this one, but I've never watched a story unfold in quite this way before. Odd that we're all watching and trying to find out as much as we can at the same time.

I am a death hag too then! The TMZ live feed is at the top of the page when you first go to the site. It keeps coming in and out. I have both TMZ and CNN up....on the CNN website there is a place where you can see a live feed from their cameras but there's no audio.

    Care Bears or Strawberry Shortcake.

FAUX news is also streaming live, but it's going in and out, probably jammed up as well.

Something is going on with the feed right now. There is just way too many people who are trying to access it.

His mental state has been out of whack since filming Batman. He was talking about only getting an hour or two of sleep at a time after filming.
