Our Best Buy has it coming on Tuesday.

Guess who's going to be right there on Tuesday, waiting to get her copy?

I just watched this courtesy of Netflix and it is excellent! A definite must see for anyone even slightly interested in the case. I didn't know Scott appears throughout the film. I hated for it to end and I can't say that about too many films. A job well done guys!!!

I'm pretty sure the version that's at Walmart is the full-screen, no-frills version. I haven't seen it yet, in person, so I'm not positive, but that would explain why the price is like 60% less at Walmart.

The version available at Best Buy on Tuesday should be the widescreen version with all of the extras, etc. That's probably why there's a price difference.

That's a good point. A lot of those in the cheap bins are full screen dvd's that nobody buys.

Considering I hate full-screen on DVD? I'm more than happy to buy the version available at Best Buy on Tuesday. MORE than happy. I WANT the widescreen version, I WANT the extras, and so on. No cheapie version for me, thanks!

Got mine today at Best Buy!

It was just as chilling and fascinating in my family room as it was at the Temecula Valley International Film Festival.

The new DVD (the one with Manson's face on the cover) is probably higher-resolution than our original release. This is because they're probably printing on dual-layer disks, whereas we were limited to single-layer disks. Without getting too tech-y, dual layer DVDs mean you can fit more data (8.5 GB instead of 4.7 GB), which means the film on the new DVD has as much as 40% more resolution than the version we originally released.

We have a version of the film in HD, so who knows -- maybe they'll put out a Blu Ray one of these days.

I'd consider rebuying it if it were on Blu Ray.

Watched it last night and was amused and entertained. My area Netfllix hub (in Lansing, Michigan) didn't have a copy. They sent me a copy from the San Jose hub. Love Netflix.

I cracked up when Scott said that Susan Atkins took a dump in an apartment stairway. Just struck me funny.

My hubby won't buy this or DD for me, so I asked my Mommy to buy it me for Xmas. She bought me a TV instead, so I still dont have it. I didn't like to tell her I would have prefered the DVD's lol. I'm applying for a Visa so I can get it from Amazon.com, the things a girl has to do!

Just as long as my name stays on the photo credits, I'm HAPPY!

Although I can't say anyone I know has called me and said, "Hey, I saw your name on the credit's for a movie!"

I love Netflix too! Just got mine yesterday in the mail and left work an hour early to watch it! Even my hubby who isn't even remotely a Death Hag enjoyed it. The movie was well done, very informative and of course it's always nice to see Scott doing what he loves best!

Oh, and hey Scott! don't forget us when you become a HUGE Hollywood star!!

I saw it in the $5 movie bin in Walmart and about pooped my pants! I did pick it up- it is no frills, but it is widescreen. I loved it! Over the years, off and on, I would look for updated info and pics from the Manson days, and now I have most of it here, in front of me! I have to get the first one now!

I was shocked to see it at the grocery store today (Ralphs). And yes I bought it. I haven't watched it yet so I don't know which one I have but it has Manson's face on the front and it has Echo Bridge Entertainment's logo on the back at the bottom.

I always look at the movies they have on a little display (that they put right in the middle of an aisle) just to see if there is anything I might want... lately they haven't had that great of stuff. Charles Manson's face caught my attention and as I walked past it I noticed it said "Six Degrees of Helter Skelter". So naturally I backed up and grabbed it. I'm kicking myself now but I didn't look to see if this was the only one or if there were more. Next week when I go back I will check again.
