I bought the PedEgg and really liked it, and the Shamwow which is named rather appropriately with the word "sham" right at the beginning.

I am dying to buy a steam mop, however, like that Shark model. Does anyone own one? I really want a customer review before I go and blow $100 on something that might turn out to be a piece of crap

My better half bought the pet nails thing and the cats all hid under the bed the first time they heard it and that was it.
I have bought two things and they both worked really well.
1. Rescue tape: It is kind of like a real heavy duty thread tape that is sort of indestructable. I use it on the boat for hose leaks etc. It really works well but it was pricey.
2.I bought these blue mop heads that were like a memory foam material. They grabbed cat hair from floors and ulpolstery really well and they were so absorbant the floor is left nearly dry. I love them. They live up to every claim but they too were pricey but have lasted for a couple of years now.

My better just ordered some shoe inserts that are supposed to stop heel pain. She is on her feet all day and her feet really bother her some times. This is supposed to really work well.
Regards,
Mary

it looked great on TV and all, took it home tried it on the pug, not only did she freaked, it also didn't work as well like on TV. It kept jamming to a halt. I followed instructions and all. Was going to take it back, but ended up donating it to Goodwill!
Yeah--that PediPaws, what a joke! My dogs run out of the room, tails between legs, when I so much as pull that piece of junk out of the drawer. I don't even know if it works--I've never been able to get close enough to either of them with that thing to try it out!

I'm torn on the Bullet. GREAT for margaritas, for sure. But everything else I try to use it for turns to lumpy soup. I'm probably using it wrong, or not pulsing correctly, don't know. But for, say, chopping onions--it goes way beyond 'chop' directly to 'puree'! btw, try the black bean dip recipe in the bullet recipe book--now that stuff is GOOOOOOD!

The PedEgg--unassailable perfection. This we know.

I bought "Smooth Away" at a beauty supply store. This is product that smooths away leg hair, etc. It works pretty good plus I like that it exfoliates too so your legs do feel smooth. Its worth the $10.

Yeah, you can't "chop" cheese in it, that's for sure. I make smoothies & chicken salad with mine a lot. It makes great chicken salad. I'll try the dip! Did you know it's also a JUICER!?

I never thought about chicken salad...actually I'm cooking a chicken right now so I'll be trying that out tonight!
It sure did 'juice' my onions so I have no doubt it makes a fantastic juicer!

Do those really work as advertised?
Others around here don't seem to think so.
Any thoughts? (Besides the OP on this?)
Saw it at my local grocery store. Almost tempted to buy.

The thing I noticed with my recent ASOTV experience (Scroll up to the first post for details) is that between the store and the ad is that the ads promise two of them and a free gift.
However they double the price. (At the store it was $10 and on TV it's $20)
I'm an old school hands on kind of guy and prefer to support the local buisness. Besides, I don't have to wait 4-6wks for it and can get an instant refund if it doesn't work.
Free gift be damned. It's never anything I really need and I got plenty of stuff anyway.

You know, I do--but I shoved that in the back of the cupboard right out of the box and until you just reminded me I completely forgot it was up there. I need to get busy with the Bullet, obviously.

Jessie and I like Pedi-Paws so far. I think the trick is not to let the dog's nails get too long and use the PP to keep them down. Also, only for small dogs. I bought the Tony Little microbead bed pillow and it's hard as a rock! It's going back. I also bought Bump Its and either I have a fat head or those things were made for little girls. hmm.. heh. Yea, I've been hittin up the local BB&B for these items.

Considering my Sophie-pup freaks when I bring out the manual nail clippers, she would probably pull a Scooby-doo, stand up on her hind legs and run screaming "Rut-row Shaggy! Let's get outta here!" She runs away when I bring out the vacuum and hiding before it's even plugged in!

Even if you caught them I dont think it works. I chased my dog down and nearly sat on him trying to use it and everytime you push the thing against the nail it stops, if you do it lighter nothing is shaved off.

Two thumbs down!

One of my dogs actually loves to RIDE the vacuum--the moment I turn it on he's there, and goes through the whole house sitting on that roaring vacuum just loving life!!
Bring out that Pedi-Paws though, and he's NOwhere to be found!

Bwwahahahahaha Mary!!! OMG...love it!
Yeah Pedi Paws is horrible. Jade's nails weren't real long when I tried it, and like Punklove said, it takes FOREVER to shave down. So I've gone back to Petco where the clip for 10 dollars. Faster and she's not as freaked out. She only freaks out because she's afraid of heights.

When I first got the MB I told my mom how much I loved my new silver bullet. I did realize my mistake & corrected it. LOL She laughed, I laughed, & we both about died of embarrassment.

Hubs ordered some lame recipe collection crap years ago. Came with a plastic container with the lid pre broken. Every month a new packet of recipes would arrive. Cancelled that crap after 3 months.

I didn't buy the Pedi Paws, but my sister did and we borrowed it. It's a piece of shit. Petco does nails for $10? I better check it out. My pug's nails can get nasty if you don't watch her.

We weren't impressed with the Sham Wow either.

My mom had that Bullet thing and she loved it. The blender, that is! LOL!

She bought this other blender off the TV, I can't remember the name of it, but she spent a FORTUNE on it. It worked really well. When dad died, she didn't need it anymore so she passed it on to me. OMG. Best blender I ever had. It powers through ice for smoothies and margaritas in no time flat. Same with fruits. Purees that stuff in a second.

Damn. I should look it up, because when this one dies, I'm getting another. I'll never waste money on a regular blender again, one that starts to smoke after 2 pitchers of margaritas.

I saw something in a magazine once, they said that the things sold on TV, the best stuff will eventually end up in stores. So I usually wait for that.

There was something on QVC we bought called Forearm Forklifts. They aren't so great either. Should've sent them back right away, but forgot about them until I saw them in the garage a few days ago.

This is the bad boy I'm talking about. She spent $400 on it, I see it's dropped to $350. Vitamix 5000

Jacks- Oh gosh I know what you mean with Puggy's nails. I got scars that makes me look like a damn cutter!!! I swear!! LOL! I know why people look at me funny. Oh yeah about Petco, if you go to them during their shot clinic time, the clippings are only $5. I am sure this is with most Petco. So call them up and ask when they're next shot clinic is. Ours are Saturdays from 4-5!

I bought a Forever Sharp knife set with a life time guarantee if they ever go blunt that will be replaced and I love them.
I bought an AB-Swing too but it's only good for collecting dust-the novelty wore off it fast.

What good is that!?
j/k

Seriously: That's good to know.
I am not hearing "Not sold in stores" anymore.
As others have mentioned, BBB is doing it now.
And a local grocery store has shelf space for this stuff too.

I wonder if anyone has tried these hangers?
It seems to me that I would spend more time shifting other "wonder hangers around" to make room to put the bottom hook up onto the bar.
I'm fine with what I have and have enough space and don't mind shifting things as they are. So I suppose it would be good for clothes that aren't worn that often.
Just wondering if anyone else uses these?

Yes we bought some at bed bath and beyond and they are crap. They are really thin plastic and broke almost immediately. The concept is good but the material selection was poor.

I agree!!!! My momma saw these on tv and was dying to try them, so I drove all the way to the mall that has the 'as seen on tv' store and got some - they were crap. I agree, the idea is great but the material is TERRIBLE.

And be sure that you don't get one magic bullit confused with the other in the dark in the kitchen.

I also have the Titan Peelers. LOVE them. They work better than on tv. They save a lot of time being able to peel in both directions. And they do peel everything. I tested them on a pumpkin and they worked great.

Seriously it was the biggest waste of time ever! If you have a cat it might work better because cats nails are typically thinner, but I dont think it works all that well with dogs.

I think most pet stores have a knock off of the nail thing that is typically 5 bucks or so, you could give it a go and see what happens.
